There are two eating areas at The White Horse. The bar is informal and bustling and the conservatory is light and airy. The bar has been fully refurbished in 2012 to create an informal yet stylish dining space.
Our kitchen brigade led by Jack Watts and Ben Stubbs have created a menu which reflects the principles of using great local produce when you are supposed to whenever possible.
One menu is served in all dining areas and additional daily specials allow the brigade to be creative and make the most of the freshest local ingredients. Combining classic cooking techniques with local produce a hint of the med and a bit of theatre, eating at the White Horse is a must on any visit to the North Norfolk Coast.
A lighter options menu operates daily at lunchtime and of course on Sundays where better to enjoy a really fantastic Traditional Roast.
We pride ourselves on supporting and being supported by local suppliers. Lobster, crab and mussel fishermen as the seasons dictate; butchers, graziers and Norfolk estates for meat and game; soft fruit, salads, asparagus and free range eggs from local small holders; increasingly cheeses from within the county. Rod and line caught mackerel and sea bass find their way to our door through the summertime. New for 2012 is a relationship with what may become our exclusive farm from which we are supplied with Lamb and Pork and from which crops are planted at our request and harvested exclusively for us when they really are at their best!
Add to this Four real ales and an extensive wine list all supplied by East Anglia's famous Brewer Adnams and you have some very compelling reasons to visit the White Horse.
