Award-winning Food & Drink

There are two eating areas at The White Horse. The bar is informal and bustling and the conservatory is light and airy We also have a hidden courtyard garden where you can soak up the fresh sea air when the weather permits.

Our kitchen brigade led by Greg Baker and Scott Joyce have created a menu which reflects the principles of using great local, seasonal produce.

Our current menu is shown below with additional daily specials allowing the kitchen team to be creative and make the most of the freshest local ingredients. Combining classic cooking techniques with local produce, a hint of the med and a bit of theatre, eating at the White Horse is a must on any visit to the North Norfolk Coast.

A lighter options menu operates daily at lunchtime and of course on Sundays where better to enjoy a really fantastic traditional roast.

We pride ourselves on supporting and being supported by local suppliers. Lobster, crab and mussel fishermen as the seasons dictate; butchers, graziers and Norfolk estates for meat and game; soft fruit, salads, asparagus and free range eggs from local small holders; increasingly cheeses from within the county. Rod and line caught mackerel and sea bass find their way to our door through the summertime.

Add to this four real ales, craft beers and an extensive wine and spirit list all supplied by East Anglia’s famous Brewer Adnams and you have some very compelling reasons to visit the White Horse.
